iLearn Literacy

In this workshop I was able to expand my knowledge on the use of blogs in the literacy classroom; specifically how a blog can be used to help develop an essay. It can be used as a central location to post research links that others can view and comment on to determine the overall validity and effectiveness of the information. Students can then use the links that got the most favorable responses to gather information for their essays or reports. As time goes on, students learn on their own how to separate the useful links from the frivolous ones.
